While we strive to engage everyone in a vibrant social media experience and bring the Jefferson Thomas presence to all the most popular and widely used platforms, we have been experiencing periodic irregularities with Twitter; sudden spikes of people liking and retweeting JT content. While I would love to just sit back and allow this to stroke my ego, a cursory look at these accounts doesn't pass the smell test.
This is the sort of thing I might have expected once I became like, all world famous and stuff. In the meantime, it cheapens the role of social media and our desire to share lots of stuff with you, to spread the JT gospel, and for everyone to have fun doing it (which was the whole point, remember?)
So we're not going to go so far as to take the Twitter acount down, just giving you a heads-up that we just aren't there very much anymore, compared to other platforms. We'd rather see fifty of you sincerely engaging with us than having smoke blown up my ass from a thousand people who may not actually even exist.
