Honor Thy Father...

I spent my first European tour expecting a call any minute that my dad had died and I'd have to head back home right in the middle of everything.  He was almost gone before I left, but he managed to hang in there until a few weeks after I got back.  This was a man who had criss-crossed the US doing thousands of gigs for decades.  But In our very last conversation before I left, he said, "You're gonna tour Europe?  Man, that's something I always wished I'd been able to do."

Based on notes and a receipt I found in the case, I found out that it was sometime In the late 70's that he acquired a gorgeous 1953 Vega arch-top guitar that he adored.  I had it restored (mostly) last year.  So I brought it along this time.. Well, whaddya think of Europe so far, Dad?
