Back home again, back to work...

The living room and dining room now feature the vinyl collection (four generations of over 3000 pieces including a healthy dose of 45s, 78s, and acetates dating back to World War I) and vintage turntables and reel-to-reel tape machines from the 1950s through the 1990s, as well as antique furniture including a 1915 grandfather clock and 19th Century marble-top Victorian tables. My grandparents' china cabinet with smoked glass and silver from the 1940s is in the kitchen. So it's becoming a pretty dope retro domicile.

But when selecting the furniture for the studio, I left class and eloquence behind and went straight for "man-cave." That's right, bitches...the leather sofa in the playback area is full-on dude-motif, and has CUPHOLDERS. No one should ever be expected to create anything without CUPHOLDERS.
